from the city center. Daily Indian Airlines
flights connect Udaipur with Jodhpur, Jaipur, Aurangabad, Mumbai and Delhi.
Udaipur is connected
by rail with Ahmedabad, Chittorgarh, Bombay via Ahmedabad, Delhi and
Jaipur. Udaipur is connected by centralized booking system of Indian
Railways. Palace onWheels is also available for tourists
looking for extra comforts. Lines here are currently metre gauge, but are
scheduled to be converted to broad gauge.

bus services link Udaipur with several destinations like Agra, Ahmedabad,
Jodhpur and Mount Abu.

When to go?
The best time to visit Udaipur is from September to March, but the

The summers are hot and winters are cold but the temperature does not rise
to extremes. However the summer evenings are cooler and the nights are more
pleasant.
