TAJ MAHAL FOR SALE! Miniature marble models of the Taj are popular souvenirs with both domestic and international tourists.

Agra is famous for its pietra dura work - the art of inlaying-semi precious stones in marble. The workmanship is of good quality and you will find an array of items to suit your budget.

Leather goods are also good buys - many branded shoe companies in India outsource from Agra. Durries and Carpets are also made here. 

Popular places for inexpensive shopping are around Kinari Bazaar in the Old City. Sadar Bazaar and Fatehabad Road have several big emporiums. About a kilometre from the Taj is Shilpgram, a crafts village and open-air emporium with crafts from all over the country.
